Our fibreglass hand railing, stantions and fitting are manfactured using isophthalic polyester resin resulting in a fire resistant product which is light weight and easy to install.
By using this resin the product is corrosion resistant in the marine and most chemical conditions. In addition to being corrrosion resistant, it is a high strength maintenance free product and so puts safety first.
It is also resistant to electrical conductivity making it safe to use in all electrical applications.










Horizontal Tee
This is used to secure the top railing to the upright support.









Horizontal Cross
This is used to secure the bottom railing to the upright support.









Handrailing Base
This is used to secure the upright support.

<description>Fibreglass grating has an enhanced ascetic apprrearance. It is easy to install, non magnetic and can act as a thermal insulator. It is maintenance free, but should the grating be damaged due to an accident, it is easy to repair.
Non corrosive and high strength
Fibreglass moulded grating provides excellect corrosion resistance as well as a high tensile strength. When a weight is applied to the grating bars, the load is transferred to the adjoining bars assisting in the the load distribution and hence giving it a very high strength. Access holes, although they may cause a slight additional deflextion, do not weaken the the panel nor do they necessarily require extra support.
Corrosion resistant
Due to fibreglass being corrosion resistant, it has an indefinate life span.
Slip resistant
During the moulding process, a concave meniscus is created on the surface. This, together with the spacing between the between bars, as well as quartz stone grit surface, gives it extremely good traction. In addition to the non-slip surface, the quartz stone protects the surface from damage caused by falling objects. This surface is also extremely effective in icy conditions.
Impact resistant
Fibreglass grating will deflect with impact from a relitavely heavy weight and return to its orriginal position, unlike metal grating which may remain bent under the same impact.
Weight
The fibreglass grating is light weight and easy to cut.
Strength to weight ratio
Strength to weight ratio is only one fourth of that of steel grating The bi-directional mechanical properties adds strength to the grating.</description>

The C-Type Clip is used to secure the grating to the angel iron.













M-Type Clip
The M-Type Clip is used to secure one grating to another.

<title>Fibreglass Moulded Grating</title>

<description>Our moulded fibreglass grating is made up of a one piece, interwoven, square mesh constructuon, composed of aproximately 65% resin and 35% continuous fillliment fibreglass roving.
The fibreglass roving, together the liquid resin, is methodically placed in a mould, in layers until the required thickness is achieved. It is then set aside for curing.
We stock both Polyester and Vinylester resin grating. The Isophthalic polyester resin gives it resistance to corrossion in the marine and most chemical industries whilst the Vinyl Ester resin is used mainly where there is a concentration of acids.
At our premises in Cape Town, we have a large table saw and extractactor fan which enables us to cut our grating safely, to our customers requirements.

Mini Grating







This product is used to prevent accidents occuring from small tools and other objects falling through to the walkways below.
They are also ideal for areas where light and or airflow is essential, as well as for machine guards.
Due to the closeness of the bearing bars, it makes it easier for light weight trollies and wheelchairs to pass over.




Closed Top Grating







This product is used to prevent liquids and small particles falling through the holes.




Steps







The open and closed grating steps are cut to size according to the clients requirements.
The open grating with its concave meniscus, quartz stone grit surface and the spacing between the bars, provide an extremely good traction.




Non-slip Stair Tread Covers







These covers are manufactured in isophthalic polyester resin and therefore are corrision and fire resistant.
The coarse quartz stone gives it the non-slip saftey qualities, whilst the yellow and black colours enhances its saftey aspects.
They can be used on fire escape steps, as well as on the steep staircases of the marine vessels.
